Stanley is Vice Chairman, U.S. Energy, Resources, & Industrials (ER&I) Leader, Deloitte LLP. ER&I is an industry where more than 9,000 practitioners—representing the Industrial Products & Construction; Oil, Gas & Chemicals; and Power, Utilities, & Renewables sectors — collaborate to address the most critical and complex challenges of Deloitte’s clients. Stanley also serves as the Global Sector Leader for Power, Utilities, & Renewables, and is a Lead Client Service Partner with over 30 years of experience assisting executives in matters regarding strategy, restructuring, mergers, and technology adoption (digital, analytics, robotic, etc.) to enhance business performance. Stanley has published and presented articles on energy transition, decarbonization, energy resource management, and leading practices to improve business analytics.

Stanley serves on Deloitte USA LLP’s Board of Directors, United States Energy Association Board of Directors, Wofford College Board of Trustees, and is the Chairman of the Board for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington. Stanley is Deloitte’s executive sponsor for Black Corporate Directors Conference and Management Leadership for Tomorrow. Stanley is a member of the Executive Leadership Council.

Stanley received his Bachelor of Science from Wofford College and his Master of Business Administration from Duke University – Fuqua School of Business. Prior to joining Deloitte, Stanley worked at Ernst & Young and ExxonMobil.
