Thomas Bourveau

Thomas Bourveau is an Assistant Professor in the accounting division at Columbia Business School and a fellow at the Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership. Prior to joining Columbia University in 2018, he served as a faculty in HKUST for three years. He obtained his PhD in Management Science from HEC Paris. He also holds a Master of Science in Economics & Business from La Sorbonne University & ENS Paris-Saclay, and a Master in Public Affairs from Science-Po Paris. His research lies at the intersection of accounting, law, governance and information economics. He is particularly interested in the role of voluntary disclosure and auditing practices in unregulated markets.
