Molly Calkins

Executive Team

Molly Calkins is the Director of the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia Law School.

As Director, Molly works with the Executive Director to shape and execute the Millstein Center’s programs and projects, including through research and engagement on law, policy, and governance. She also helps oversee the Center’s fellowship programs, communications strategy, and fundraising and operating budget.

Molly joined the Millstein Center from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where she worked for over five years on a range of complex litigation and cross-border criminal and regulatory investigations on behalf of corporate and individual clients. Her pro bono practice has included matters involving civil rights, international human rights, and criminal defense.

Molly received her J.D. from Harvard Law School. She graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in English, a minor in history, and an African Studies Certificate. As an undergraduate, Molly spent six months studying at the University of Cape Town. She currently serves on the New York City Bar Association Sex and Law Committee.
